When it comes to self-care, the ancient wisdom believes prevention is always better than treatment. Taking proactive measures to stay healthy and balanced can save time, energy and money in the long run. Most importantly, you will feel this sense of holistic wellness at every stage of life!

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) takes a very unique view of life and self-care through a concept called Yang Sheng (养生 Nurturing life/health).

While it is very similar to modern health advice (eg eating nutritious meals, exercising regularly, getting enough rest/sleep, etc), there are many differences that haven’t been discovered in the West. They are common knowledge in the East, especially with the older generations.

In this mini-course, you’ll learn the wisdom and ‘secrets’ from thousands of years of practices. Then, you can decide for yourself if they are suitable for you, or if you can easily implement them in your daily routine. I challenge you to give some a try and then see if there are any changes in your overall well-being.

This digital journal was initially created for the members of my TCM Wellness Circle membership. This Holistic TCM Self-Care Journal is a guided journal that helps you to explore all aspects of your self-care. It includes sections on physical, mental, and spiritual self-care. There is also another section for understanding your relationship with others, your home, and your environment, which are important aspects for overall wellbeing according to TCM. I give TCM-specific tips and tricks, as well as prompts to help you incorporate TCM self-care practice into your daily routine. 

The journal also has space for you to set goals for your self-care journey and track your progress. By journaling about your self-care, you will be able to identify areas that need improvement and make lasting changes to improve your overall health and well-being.
